Temecula Valley Bass Anglers book a Type B day at Diamond Valley Sept. 19

Diamond Valley Lake’s mid-September bass calendar does not go quiet after American Bass. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved one-day Type B black bass permit for Temecula Valley Bass Anglers on Diamond Valley Lake on Sept. 19, 2026.

That Saturday is a week after American Bass’s approved two-day Type A on the same reservoir (Sept. 12–13). Type B is the 60-or-fewer angler black bass class, three days max; Section 230 also lets CDFW issue up to three Type B cards per water per day.

Expect a SoCal club weigh-in on a hard-to-get lake, not a second Type A field. Recreational boats should give blast-off and weigh-in corridors extra space, confirm current black bass bag and size rules before keeping fish, and contact Temecula Valley Bass Anglers for entry.
