Tribute’s 2.5-day stacks yellowtail, dorado, and a wahoo; locals pile bonito

Saturday’s Seaforth dock was a different mix from the midweek bluefin pile. Tribute’s 2.5-day checked in with 1 wahoo, 36 yellowfin, 53 dorado, and 55 yellowtail. Capt. Mike Pritchard’s same-day Tribute log called it loading up — more dorado, yellowtail, yellowfin, and “one of these tasty bastards” in the mix.

Closer to home, San Diego’s full day weighed 15 yellowtail and 80 bonito. Sea Watch’s full day posted 16 yellowfin, 1 skipjack, and 2 dorado. The landing’s note on both full-days: sniper-style jigs plus a 25–30 lb live-bait or surface-iron rod, and don’t forget the passport. New Seaforth half-days stayed local — bass, barracuda, and bonito, some of those bonito around 10 pounds.
