Seaforth fleet boards 218 bluefin off San Diego on Sept. 10

Seaforth Sportfishing’s multi-day tuna boats stacked bluefin on the Mission Bay dock Thursday. The landing’s Sept. 10 staff update said Polaris Supreme came off a two-day with bluefin limits for 23 anglers (92 fish), Aztec’s 3.5-day posted limits of bluefin plus 24 yellowtail for 16 anglers (96 bluefin), and Tribute’s 1.5-day weighed 30 bluefin for 18 anglers.

As of about 2:30 p.m. that afternoon, Seaforth’s fish-count page listed eight boats and nine trips for 224 anglers: 247 yellowfin, 218 bluefin, 51 bonito, 38 yellowtail, 32 calico bass, 17 dorado, and a rockfish/skipjack mix. Yellowfin still carried the full-day offshore program, including passport trips on San Diego.
