Paradise Bass Club books a Type B day at Lake Oroville Sept. 12
Lake Oroville opens mid-September with a one-day club card. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved Type B black bass permit for Paradise Bass Club on Oroville, Lake on Sept. 12, 2026.
Type B covers black bass contests with 60 or fewer anglers, three days max, and no more than three Type B permits on the same water the same date. Folsom Bass Team’s one-day Type B follows on Sept. 19, then Fairfield-Suisun Bass Reapers take a two-day Type B Sept. 20–21 — three different clubs stacked across nine days on the Feather River arm.
Recreational anglers that Saturday should expect extra boats around launch and weigh-in. Confirm current Oroville black bass bag and size rules before keeping fish, and contact the club for entry.
